The Fucking Superbowl, Wrestling, USHRA MONSTER JAM!!!! and Such and Such

No, I didn’t commit suicide after the Superbowl. I just haven’t felt like writing for the past two weeks.
Needless to say, the Superbowl was wicked gay. It doesn’t hurt as bad as game 7 of the 2003 ALCS, but it was right up there with it. After about a week, it doesn’t hurt as bad anymore. As a Boston sports fan, you have to keep telling yourself "We’re playing with house money."
When you’re in your fifties, you’re gonna be telling your kids about this golden age of Boston Sports, where we saw 5 World Championships in a ten year span (decade isn’t over yet by the way). Now I know it hurts that we didn’t win the big one and we lost the perfect season, but the 2007 Pats got a lot accomplished. We got the first ever 16-0 regular season, which probably won’t happen again, and we shattered the record books when it came to TD’s in a season.
Now if your still not convinced that this is the golden age of Boston Sports, here’s a list of all the Major League Championships won by New England since 2000:

It would have been great to win another Superbowl, but it isn’t the end of the world. We’re blessed, and still have a football team that could win next year. And a baseball team that can win, and a basketball team that can win, and a hockey team……well…..I like their jerseys, lets keep that goin.
Revs and Sun, I’m sure you’ll get over that hump some day, and when you do we’ll all read about it in the upper corner of the sports section, right above the headline of Manny wanting out of Boston again.
If you need something to take your mind of of sports for a while, I recommend wrestling. WWE’s next ppv No Way Out is featuring TWO elimination chamber matches!
An elimination chamber is a big cage made of chains with 6 guys in it. Wicked fun!
First Chamber Match:
HHH vs. Umaga vs. JBL vs. Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Jeff Hardy
I gotta say I’m liking the JBL/Jericho storyline, and I’m hoping for big Wrestlemania payoff. Jericho hasn’t really wowed me since coming back. Its like he’s there, but who gives a shit. JBL has clearly been the best heel of the new year so far, and he’s been bringing out the best in Jericho, so let’s hope for more bloody brawls from these two.
Jeff Hardy is growing extremely popular, which is always exciting to see, but the anticlimactic ending to his rumble match really took out a lot of the spark from his push. I hope that he eventually goes to a main event, maybe summerslam, because he really has come a long way.
HHH looks to be the favorite to win the match and face Cena at Mania. I wouldn’t mind a rematch between these two, since the last match was really good, and now they are both playing the face. Wrestlemania is shaping up to be a good show in my opinion.
Second Chamber Match:
Undertaker vs. Big Daddy V vs. MVP vs. Great Khali vs. Finlay vs. Batista
Taker looks to be the favorite, since Taker vs. Edge seems to be a intriguing matchup for mania. I have no problem with this. Taker can still go.
MVP is really looking good in the ring, and his character has developed nicely. Hopefully by the end of the year we’ll be seeing him in the main events. Until then, lets build for a Matt Hardy vs. MVP U.S Title Match
Have Khali get his ass kicked by the Big Show and then dump his ass. He’s a joke now.
Finlay has the best storyline so far by far. I’m hoping for a Finlay/Hornswoggle vs. Shane/Vince match at Mania. Finlay has fast become my favorite on Smackdown.
Big Daddy V = the best part of ECW. Now those are some man boobs.
Batista’s a fag.
For those of you not familiar with me, you’ll have to excuse the wrestling parts of the blog until April. Still a fan of Wrestlemania and the buildup to Wrestlemania. I’m totally gay for wrestling for the next couple of months.
